I liked the excursion around Shinjuku. Introducing students to stores and things to do was great.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
The most productive was the dictation tests and practice in class. It really forced me to get better at writing and writing quick in Japanese.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Tests, textbook practice.
Anything you especially liked in the living arrangements? Any problems you experienced?
It was very clean and the staff were SUPER SUPER kind. My room was very nice and modern. I liked the modern touch to the dormitory. The only problem I experienced was other students coming in and out in the middle of the night and being very loud.
Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?
Pack good shoes, small towel, fan and umbrella for commute to school.
