Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I really loved the Yamanashi overnight trip. I thought it was a really fun way to immerse ourselves in a more native and historical part of Japanese culture!

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I really appreciated how intensive the program was! It made me feel like I needed to study more, learn more and apply my Japanese more. I think in general the intensive ness of the program made me feel super productive.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I thought drill practices were super helpful! I also really liked the games. I thought it was an interactive and fun way to apply and learn new material.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

I liked learning about Japan outside of the language studies. It was nice getting some context for why Japan is the way it is!

Testimonials

The most important reason why I selected the program was for its affordability. As a graduate, I am paying for the program through my own personal funds without the help of any university financial aid or scholarships. Affordability and value of the program were essential in my decision, and KCP has exceeded my expectations.
