I very much liked the location of my dorm in Nishi-Tokyo!

Rishab from Summer Short 2017

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I found the interactions with actual Japanese people to be very helpful and very interesting.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found that drill practices and setting the weekly in-class goals to be very helpful

Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?

Keep doing what your doing!

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I very much liked the location of my dorm in Nishi-Tokyo. Although commuting everyday was a bit troublesome the towns quiet environment was a nice escape after going to school in a area like Shinjuku. The staff of the dorm where very freindly and food offered varied from traditional Japanese breakfast to western style dinners.

Testimonials

Choosing KCP was largely to do with the ease of application. A lot of other summer courses required a lot of paperwork and recommendations and transcripts that are a big pain to gather. But KCP’s application process was very easy and self-explanatory! Also, the student life photos looked interesting!
