Daniel from 2012

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

All of the events were fun and informative. I especially liked the Kamakura trip.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

The classes were very helpful, especially the group discussions and conversation work we did in class. I greatly appreciated the private help I also received from each of my teachers.

How satisfied were you with the teachers and classroom environment?

Very Satisfied

Where did you reside over the course of this program?

Dormitory

Where did you live?

Kasai Dorm

Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?

I loved living in a dorm by myself. No problems to speak of.

Any further thoughts or tips for those considering the program or new KCP students?

I would try to get involved with at least one non-KCP activity that allows you to meet people and socialize in a non-school setting. Volunteering is one way to do this. Joining a club or learning a new skill in Japanese might be another way.

Testimonials

Not only did I have a great time at KCP, but the improvement I’ve witnessed in my Japanese proficiency is astounding. I still can’t quite believe I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Although I’m sad that I’m leaving by the end of this term, I’ll always have fond memories of my time here. I am truly grateful to all the staff, especially the instructors, as well as my fellow classmates for making my time here exceptional. I highly and without hesitation recommend KCP International Japanese Language School to anyone looking to learn Japanese.
