If you arrive late, be sure to call your KCP coordinator in Tokyo as soon as possible. It’s common for students arriving quite late, especially if due to a last-minute flight delay, to stay at a hotel near the airport. Foreign students of age 18 and older are allowed to reserve hotel rooms themselves.
