Passport and Visa

The program is open to U.S. students and students from other countries that have a visa treaty with Japan. You may only need a valid passport to study in Japan through KCP. Under the U.S.–Japan visa exemption agreement, U.S. citizens can study in Japan for up to 90 days (one semester or less) without a student visa.
